The Algonquin Cup

Event Overview
The Algonquin Cup is an elite NCAA lacrosse invitational created in 2003 to showcase the top Division I men’s college lacrosse programs in the country.

The 2005 event will be held at James M. Shuart Stadium on the campus of Hofstra University on Long Island, one of the nation’s finest lacrosse facilities in one of the hotbeds of local interest.

A youth jamboree, which will showcase players from New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Jersey, will be held simultaneously on North campus fields of the University.

The Algonquin Cup attracts a high quality cross section of players, parents, students and fans, a highly affluent and influential demographic that produces the highest index of the nation’s corporate and political leaders.
